We are looking for a fluent bi-lingual (Mandarin/English) dynamic and creative leader, with the drive to lead and further develop our dedicated team. Working primarily in China, you will have an entrepreneurial approach and significant experience of securing income from diverse funding streams.
Values driven, you will be adept at building and nurturing relationships with the vision to inspire and influence across the organization and externally.
You will collaborate with healthcare leaders and professionals to help shape their ideas into new models of service provision and drive forward the vision of the charity.
The role will encompass identification; development; implementation and promotion of current and future BCH services, programs and partnerships that support children and families in China who are affected by life-limiting conditions or complex medical conditions.
Focused on China, this role requires high-level consultation with the Chinese government and medical authorities, collaboration and relationship building skills, with philanthropic, corporate, government and community stakeholders both within China and internationally.
Initially, you will also be responsible for operational oversight of existing management in the Butterfly Home in Hunan Province, Changsha
The candidate we are seeking will have director level experience, ideally with children’s services in the third sector and must have worked internationally.
Must be Fluent in Mandarin and English at high level.

**Tertiary level qualifications in a relevant field and a minimum of 5-10 years successful senior leadership experience at a social impact organisation.
**Experience in developing new opportunities in the community sector.
**Experience in high level business planning, people leadership, the effective delivery of strategies, operational service delivery and the implementation of monitoring and evaluation systems.
**Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing strategic recommendations and ensuring an integrated and collaborative service package that meets demand.
**Proven ability in high level business development, negotiation and networking to effectively build and maintain collaborative relationships across a broad stakeholder group, in order to create new and sustainable service opportunities.
**Understand the workings of all levels of Government, business and philanthropy, and ability to advocate to all stakeholders on key issues.
**Comprehensive analytical skills to enable interpretation and analysis of research and
data and the ability to recommend and implement interventions and strategies.
**Demonstrated experience in financial management and managing complex budgets to meet targets and KPIs.
