Program Manager will be responsible for managing G2A China programs on a wide range of program areas, providing donor stewardship and grant making related services, developing and delivering other advisory services, and providing support to the whole China team. Program Manager will report to China Program Director.
I.Managing grants on assigned accounts.
To be account manager of assigned programs/grants, taking full responsibility of the overall grant management procedures;
To develop, improve, and translate the project proposal and budget of assigned accounts with grantee partners;
To monitor the implementation of assigned programs implementation;
To review, improve, and translate program reports with grantee partners;
To facilitate high quality donor stewardship and grantee services;
To proactively identify and resolve problems around any issues that arise;
To carry out due diligence on potential grantees;
To increase the effectiveness and efficiency of G2A grant-making by constantly improving the grant-making process.
II.Developing and designing new programs.
To identify social issues in need and initiate program ideas to resolve such issues;
To identify and work with potential partners and stakeholders to develop proposals and budgets;
To present proposal to potential donors and raise funds with the support from program team.
III.Delivering philanthropic services.
To provide support to G2A program team at headquarter in outreach and promotion of G2A’s philanthropic advisory service;
To provide philanthropic advisory service based on assignment;
To participate G2A publicity activities when assigned.
To complete other tasks and duties as requested.
At least 5 years’ working experience, with minimum 3 years of professional experience in China philanthropic sector or multi-national corporates are required; in departments of philanthropy, social responsibility, or public affairs, are preferred;
University degree required and Master degree preferred. Degrees in international development, business or management, education, public health, political science, or related social science fields preferred but not required;
Demonstration of strong knowledge on the social issue and development in China, and dedication to China philanthropy sector in solving social issue;
Professional, proactive, responsive, and timely verbal and written communication skills are required;
Advanced fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese;
Well-organized, self-motivated and able to manage multi-tasks with excellent quality in efficient working pace and dynamic environment;
Ability to travel periodically;
Excellent skills on Microsoft Office are required.
