Give2Asia Beijing Representative Office is soliciting applications for the full time position ofSenior Program Manager, based in Beijing.


Give2Asia strengthens the work of Asia-based organizations by building partnerships and providing private funding to locally-identified projects. These projects promote Education, Healthcare, Employment, Environmental Sustainability of Communities, and Disaster Resiliency.


Give2Asia was established in 2001 as a U.S.-based public charity to bring private international funding to charitable groups in Asia. The goal of Give2Asia’s funding has been to strengthen programs inside of countries that help society and overcome a variety of challenges that contribute to poverty. Give2Asia has raised a total of $300 million in gifts and donations from 15,000 corporates, foundations, and individual donors, supporting projects of 1,700 community partners in 25 Asian countries and regions.


So far, Give2Asia has provided over $76 million to support charitable programs for over 200 nonprofit organizations in mainland China, covering areas of education, public health, poverty alleviation and economic development, environmental protection, assistance for the disabled, promotion and preservation of traditional Chinese culture, disaster relief, capacity building for nonprofit organizations, investment on innovative projects, etc.

Senior Program Manager


Senior Program Manager will be responsible for leading and managing G2A China program team, supervising regular grant management work, managing accounts and programs of key clients, leading new program development, participating in G2A’s business development and planning in China. Senior Program Manager will report to Chief Representative for China.


Key Responsibilities


Managing G2A’s overall China grants;

To take full responsibility of overall grant management implementation and procedures;

To work with China Chief Representative assign accounts and programs among program team members;

To lead new program development and proposal development;

To supervise grant management and make sure that all procedures and standards are well followed;

To make adjustments on grant management procedures and work with HQ program staff as needed;

To maintain grant making statistics on a regular basis;

To work with headquarter staff and compile annual program plans;

To develop and submit annual program reports.


Developing and designing new programs.

To identify social issues in need and initiate program ideas to resolve such issues;

To identify and work with potential partners and stakeholders to develop proposals and budgets;

To work with potential partners and implement new programs.


Promoting and providing G2A philanthropic service.

To provide support to program team at G2A headquarter on outreach and promotion of G2A’s philanthropic advisory service;

To provide philanthropic advisory service based on assignment;

To participate G2A publicity activities when assigned.


Participating in G2A China development.

To participate in G2A China development planning and developing;

To participate in G2A China publicity and outreaching activities.



To complete other tasks and duties as requested.



At least 10 years’ working experience, with minimum 6 years of professional experience in China philanthropic sector or multi-national corporates are required; in departments of philanthropy, social responsibility, or public affairs, are preferred; team management experience is a plus;

University degree required and Master degree preferred.  Degrees in international development, business or management, education, public health, political science, or related social science fields preferred but not required;

Demonstration of strong knowledge on the social issue and development in China, and dedication to China philanthropy sector in solving social issue;

Professional, proactive, responsive, and timely verbal and written communication skills are required;

Advanced fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese;

Well-organized, self-motivated and able to manage multi-tasks with excellent quality in efficient working pace and dynamic environment;

Ability to travel periodically;

Excellent skills on Microsoft Office are required.
