Position: Sr. Officer, Individual Marketing

Report to: Sr. Manager, Individual Marketing

Job description:

Incorporating the organization’s long-term strategic plans, organize and build up fund-raising strategies and the associated product system; support the organization and its projects, partners to finish fund-raising plans.


Main Responsibilities:

Making public fundraising strategies and the associated product system based on the organisation’s long-term strategic plans;

Incorporating important events and activities within the organization, develop activity-based fund-raising products that reflects our branding effects; lead teams to plan and implement the activities;

Responsible for expanding and maintaining partnerships with public fund-raising platforms, obtain more resources that can broaden our fund-raising activities;

Managing donors and analysing data,  ensuring donors receive good experience when donating to the organization, and providing scientific data to support later work

Provide fund-raising guidance to all regional offices in the country, help regionalize fund-raising products so they can receive public acknowledgement and support.


Working Relationship:

Line manager, team members. Also work closely with practices and other members of PED, other WWF/One planet foundation (OPF) colleagues; and WWF Network colleagues.

University degree or above.

Minimum of 5 years’ work experience in related field relevant to this position.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English.

Good competence in partnership development, communications, marketing /corporate and public relations communications.

Knowledge of international media landscape, and experience in management of media channel development and management is an advantage.

Good current understanding of WWF China/OPF and environmental conservation issues.

Excellent ability to work cross-culturally.

Excellent inter-personal skills, and team work skills including ability to internal communication, open mind strategic think, self-motivated and innovative and meet deadlines.
